Q: How do I care my leather products?
A: We make all our products with the highest quality vegetable-tanned leather and suede. Each piece of handcrafted leather has its own personality, meaning that each item has its own markings, coloring, and marbling that will age beautifully over time. That said, proper care for your leather will ensure the life and quality of the product. We recommend conditioning your leather at a minimum of every 6 months. Similar to the nature of skin, leather needs to be moisturized as soon as it feels dry. Vaseline will soften the leather and help prevent it from cracking. Please keep in mind that water stains may occur if leather gets wet – exposure to water might cause veg-tan leather to discolor light-colored garments. You can use a suede brush to remove all surface dust and dirt from your vegetable-tanned leather items.
